Ingredients

Plain White Flour Plain Wholemeal Flour Baking Powder Salt Butter  Milk  Dijon Mustard Red Leicester Cheese  Mature Cheddar

Sift the flours, baking powder and salt together in a bowl.

Add chilled butter.

Rub into flour mixture to create a breadcrumb texture.

Add grated cheeses and mix in.

STEP 5

Add Milk and Mustard. Mix to form a dough.

Flatten dough and cut out round circles using a cutter.

Place scones on a baking tray with space in between. Brush with milk and Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake for 20-25 minutes.
