Making your own beef burgers is so easy and after trying this one, you will never want to buy premade burgers ever again. They are soooo good!
You can also freeze these after you have moulded them, just place them between some non stick greaseproof paper and place in a freezer bag. Just defrost them in the fridge on the morning that you need them.
500g Beef Mince
1 x Onion, finely chopped
2 Tbsp Fresh, chopped parsley
50g Cheddar, grated
1 Bread Slice, made into breadcrumbs
1 x Egg, beaten
Heat a little oil in a pan and cook the onion until it’s soft. Turn off heat and leave onion to cool.
Place all the ingredients into a bowl and mix through with your hands.
Divide mixture into 6 and using floured hands roll into balls, flatten each ball out onto a flat surface and mould into a burger shape.
Chill the burgers for roughly 30 mins before cooking, this helps them to hold their shape.
Cook each burger in a griddle pan on each side until cooked through. Serve in buns immediately.
